Pretty good, for what's out there right nowJan 26, 2011
By Robert Seder This item is meant to be a Windows 7 tablet that is comparable to something like the iPad. In my case, I needed this for a project, and none of the competing vendors (like ViewSonic) have a release date yet, so I got this one (note I'm writing this in January 2011 - I suspect the tablet market will change significantly in the coming months).
First, it's extremely well-built. The back is metal and it has a solid feel. However, it's so "solid" that is somewhat heavy. It's almost too heavy to hold in one hand for too long a period (it weighs just about 2 lbs; and iPad weights 1.5 lbs). Maybe a plastic back would've helped? The back is smooth too, so it's little tough to hang on to with one hand too.
Also, it's a little odd there is no information about manufacturer, brand, or model. It's just a "tablet computer" that is made from China. The device, the box, the manual all make no reference to a company or brand. However, it does have a 3 year warrantee card that you are to "send to manufacturer", but there is absolutely no reference to any company name or address. So, I don't know how legitimate that is? If you can get past that though, this does seem to be a pretty high-quality device that works well, so unless there is a catastrophic problem, I assume I'll be OK anyhow.
The price is on the high-side, in my opinion. If I didn't see a price on this, I would've guessed it should be maybe $399. But with supply-and-demand, beggars can't be choosers - but I would've liked to see a lower price.
Next, battery-life isn't great. With the backlit turned down, you might get 3.5 hours of battery life. With the backlight turned all the way up (and it is REALLY bright), you might get closer to 1.5 to 2 hours of battery life. So this is around the same as "regular" laptop or larger netbook with a 6-cell battery.
Aside from those few small things, this is everything else it claims to be! It has built-in wireless and bluetooth, the rotating screen (it has a built-in gyroscope), the multi-touch features, etc all work as expected. It looks really nice, it has clean lines.
As far as speed, it has the feel of a higher-end netbook (this has a solid state drive and Atom processor, so it's physically similar too). All around though, if you are looking for an iPad-like Windows tablet, this is a pretty good alternative. It's heavier than an iPad, and not super-cheap, but until other alternatives come out, this was by-far the best option I found (and I looked), and it turned out to be a pretty nice device. I'd recommend it!

No issues so farMar 29, 2011
By Chad Pros - Windows 7 Operating System - 2 x USB Slots - Micro SD slot -
Cons - Useless user's manual - HDMI Port only working with VGA thus far - Battery life 3-5 hours
This tablet has proven to be pretty good. I can use it just as I would use a small laptop or netbook but I get the touch screen interface. Microsoft Office 10, Kindle for PC, and all other applications work as if it were on any other PC. Because this was the first time I'd used Windows with a touch interface, I was surprised at how well it worked. I have not been able to test the wi-fi because of my location, but the ethernet adapter works well for internet. I am disappointed that I have not been able to connect HDMI directly to a TV. I have to use the VGA adapter to the HDMI port. Because the manual is so poor, I can't figure out if this is just the way it is or if I'm doing something incorrectly. But, the picture still has outstanding quality on the device and the TV. I get about 4-5 hours of battery life depending on the brightness setting of the screen and whether I'm listening to music or watching videos. I realize that this is much lower than an Ipad or Xoom, but I think its the cost of utilizing a computer operating system rather than a graduated cell phone operating system. I've installed a 32G microsd card and watch movies from it without any issues. Because it is running an atom processor, I don't notice any difference in speed versus a normal laptop.
Update, April 3: I now use wi-fi tether for internet without any issues. So the internet works well with ethernet and wi-fi.

Vostrostone was incredibleMay 17, 2011
By L. Ross Just got this thing yesterday. First off, let me just reassure you that ordering from Vostrostone in Hong Kong is the way to go. Thing got here quicker than parts I ordered from New Jersey, and I live in Maryland. Under a week for the shipping. Unbelievable.
The computer itself is nice. Good bright screen. The solid state hard drive is very quick. Boots up faster and opens programs faster than any machine I have encountered before. It has a micro-SD which means for about $60 more you can upgrade it to 96gb of storage. Be sure to read to minimal manual. There is a SIM card slot, which leads me to believe the box is 3G capable. The machine is "G" sensitive, but had to be switched to that mode. At stock Win7 settings, the icons are a bit tough to nail, but after enlarging them, it is pretty simple. If you have need of a Windows based machine wit pretty good speed, cheap, this is a good way to go.
For what it is worth, this machine is a Herokin H1010. You can't find that information anywhere in the ads.

Fabulous On-The-Go Windows TabletJul 21, 2011
By T. Balay
"Historical Romance Lover!"
Ordered this for work, downloaded Windows Live Mail & Kindle for PC within minutes, even updated my business's website. Couldn't do any of that on an iPhone or iPad since they are not compatible with Windows Live Mail or the website I use to host my business' website. Shipping from Hong Kong it arrived for $14.00 within 3 days!!! I highly recommend!!!!

Microsoft is not paying attention.Jan 25, 2012
By enocme This should be a review of this tablet but instead as you can see on top of it, I call the attention to Microsoft. First, let us get some facts straight: I am a Windows person, I have a Windows phone for the last 5 years and all my computers are Pcs. On the other hand, I think that the people from Boy Store that sells this tablet are trying to sneak a product that they do not have any support for it in the USA. You know there is a problem with your purchase when the shipment arrives and it says "Sample computer" on the packing list. In addition, there is a declaration of duty for $199.00 when it actually costs over $500.00.
However, that is not the point. The people from Boy Store in China, I might say, have a good process and there is no reason the shame of this tablet to fall on their back, they just do not know better. My beef is with MICROSOFT. How on earth they don't look around and create a product that actually works for the millions of idiots like me who are still attached to Windows? This tablet looks good, feels good on the hands and has a nice image on the screen, beside that nothing else worth a penny to spend on it. It has Windows Ultimate installed and from my point of view is another useless edition of Windows. If a product is been installed on a computer that has my name on the back, I should be aware of what is been presented for sale and make sure it fulfill the needs of my clients, especially if that product is manufacture by somebody else.
It takes 5 seconds to refresh itself if you move it from portrait to landscape, 5 seconds OMG!! The screen is not even close to be effective as in any other tablet in the market. I just want to buy a tablet that obviously will be useful in the word that millions of people live every day: Windows Word or more commonly known as PC. Now I got it! The reason why I never had seen an advertisement selling a Windows Tablet in the USA is that IT IS USELESS AND MICROSOFT IS NOT LISTEN. Come on! If I'm just a simple employee in a tech company and every where I go everyone is talking about another product that is not the one that my company manufactures or worse than that, everyone is buying said product, like the IPAD 2, would I not go to my supervisor and tell him: Hey dude we need to do something equal or better!? Obviously, I will, but in Microsoft, they do not have employees like me.
I am not comparing this tablet with the IPAD 2, which is an orange or maybe an apple, either way you want to compare them. Nevertheless, all I want is a product to be comparable and competitive and tech-wise advance enough to give me a tool in the word I live on: Windows Word. A product that as soon a turn it on it collides with the universes in its surroundings, in other word that connects with my work network, home network, cell phone and my car computer since all of them run on (I guess you guess it by now): WINDOWS WORD. It is simple, but it is not going to happen.
If you want a tablet that feels like seating in front of your old PC, go ahead, this is the one, there's no different between one and another, sometimes is going to freeze, the screen will no response at some points, it takes a lot to launch a program, at the scheme of things it will be another desktop computer but on the palm of your hands. Go ahead you will receive it soon from China they have good shipping. But if Microsoft is counting to catch light in a bottle THEY NEED TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE BECAUSE IS BREWING BABY AND IT MIGHT NOT LAST. They are going to be chasing the next product always.
