 Great replacement for HP toner to save $$$Feb 23, 2011

I started buying this toner as a replacement for the HP toner bought from the Office Supply Store. I was unsure of what the quality would be like because it was so cheap, but I am happy to say that the print quality is just as good. Price is wayyyyyyy cheaper, and it can be recycled which is great for those who are GREEN. The cartridge looks almost exactly like the HP one, loads in the printer the same, and gets the job done with the same quality. I am very satisfied with the money I save on buying toner now. I can buy 3 of these for the price of one 1 HP toner. Shipping is usually free and it only takes about a week to deliver after ordering. I haven't bought a single toner from the Office Supply store for the past year, since I have been ordering these from Amazon.

I was hesitant to purchase this but now I am ONLY going to buy my HP cartridges from Amazon and this particular seller. The delivery was quick and the cartridges worked fabulously! Great for keeping office costs down. They both last a long time and the expense itself is worth it!

The cartridge certainly works, but I don't know how many prints I will get, because it "sheds" a fine layer of toner all over the paper. It's not normally noticeable, but I know it's happening, because I use shipping labels, six to a page, which I run through the printer six times as I finish and ship projects. With the manufacturer's VERY expensive cartridge, the sheet stays white. Not with this cartridge - there is a noticeable background to the labels after I've run the sheet through twice, and the last two labels look like the original stock is a distinctive heather-gray. It's not unattractive, but this certainly doesn't happen with the expensive OEM cartridge. It's just not a good thing, and I wonder what it's doing to the inside of my printer.

They may be less expensive than a branded product (like HP) but they do not last. Bought two and went through them both in half the time we would have a HP brand.
