When I got the drive and started using it, it was great. It was reasonably fast in my netbook, with no compatibility issues or any problems for the first half year of its use.
However, it failed completely within 7 months. After looking around at places such as Newegg, I've found others have shared my pain with this drive. I've had issues with Corsair hardware failing prematurely on me in the past. I'm not really that hard on my hardware and have had much better luck with other brands.
I recommend steering clear of this drive if you don't want to be replacing it inside of a year. Sure, it has a warranty, but your drive is replaced with a refurb and your warranty is transferred to the "new" drive and not renewed, which means eventually you will have a failed drive that cannot be replaced for free even if it fails within a year of getting it.

Periodically lose the connection to the motherboard, restored by power down.
In warranty service bug does not occur. After the end of warranty (one year later) no longer determined by the motherboard and is no longer work. Looks like I'm not alone: (
Disgusting SSD! Corsair does not recommend to buy.

The drive failed, files become corrupted and system crashed. Thankfully it happened less than 1 year and I hope the wwarranty is valid. Requesting RMA now.

Price: well, ssd drives are not cheap! but this one is for what you get, corsair name, mounting kit, screws.
I really enjoyed it and it was great, only problem was my motherboard and getting it to boot with ACHI enabled which is necessary for SSD optimization.
Still going strong, ill update if client has any problems with it.

MSI Wind U123 Upgrade from standard 160gb 5400rpm 2.5 Drive.
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
-2GB Ram
-32Gig SSD Corsair
-16gb SD Card Class 10 for read boot and temp files
Is it better? Yes, it boots in 15 to 20 seconds and shutdowns are 5 to 7 seconds.
Opening everything is around 1 to 2 seconds.
Web Browsing is limited to speed of connection but it pops sites up within 5 to 8 seconds (using IE8.)
Desktop Gadgets Load instantly
Pros:
Overall experience is improved and much better.

Wish I had gotten 128GB SSD but I'm not too upset. Seeing how fast this is the 128GB version apparently is even faster and bigger!

Bottom Line: If you have the cash/time/net-book and want to speed it up, get this or the next step up. You won't be upset.
