Caught me by surprise!Feb 09, 2010

I recently switched from Windows to Mac. And seeing as Mac does not offer built-in Blu ray drives,I had a few bucks to spend, so I decided to try this external drive. Let me tell you...this is MUCH faster than a PS3 blu ray player. The drive is automatically recognized by Mac OSX and plays back Blu ray movies flawlessly,with the right software of course. The drive doesnt require a power adapter, it is powered by USB or through its internal battery,perfect for laptops Mac and PC alike. Pricing is competitive against other brands at $300. Blu ray Reader/Writer 8x,compared to equally priced drives at only 6x. Virtually no noise, incredibly slim at about 3/4" Great product. Kudos to you, Digistor, on a magnificent Blu ray drive.
