By J. Sundquist This drive is made by Lenovo specifically for their laptops. I bought this drive to us on my Lenovo Thinkpad T60 laptop which only came with a DVD reader, but not burner.
The drive comes with a high quality carrying case for the drive (or to stick the old you to took out of the laptop in) and a driver / software cd.
Install was super easy as there is a release switch right next to the drive on the laptop. You hit it and a tab pops out, pull the tab and the drive in the laptop comes out with it.
Now take your new drive and stick it in the slot and you're done.
Windows sees the drive automatically and it just works.
Good price, good drive, would buy it again if needed.
