First the good news: This media is made in Japan and has burned flawlessly on a new LG WH12LS38 at 6x which is what power2go determined this media could handle.
The bad news? This media is not listed on Fuji's website and from what I can gather it has been discontinued which is a shame.
The price is fantastic for the BD-R with jewel cases that can handle 6x. I don't mind waiting a bit longer for a good burn.
Mixed feelings about Ecomm the supplier. I bought two packs and they were put into a simple USPS barely padded envelope. The boxes were beat up and although I have not opened up all the media from it's individual shrink wrap I have already had a broken jewel case. I would not be shocked to find a few more.
Would a small box be just too much to insure it arrives in good condition or do I have to buy 5 packs before it will be packaged better?
Sad part is this is the only retailer which has this media for sale, most likely they bought out the warehouse stock so this is it, when it is gone it most likely gone for good unless Fuji is working on a 6x-12x media for release.
