I have been a geek for many years and this was my first from scratch build. I wanted something that would last me for many years and could take my demands for multitasking and video editing without spending too much money. I went with this board for the low cost and feature rich while having the Z68 chipset for the Smart Response caching.
Pros: Easy to install, great look, nicely spaced out and easy to get to slots. Touch Bios very intuitive.
Cons: Mine came with Bios version F5, after banging my head against a wall for a week trying to get the Smart response to work correctly and not disable the boot drive upon restart every single time. I discovered the latest bios version was F7 which supports the smart response. So after updating the Bios, thumbs up!
So make sure you have the most up to date bios.
Also a little perturbed they list it as LGA 1156 it is in fact LGA 1155, I knew that before I purchased as I went with the 2nd Gen i7 2600k

Was looking for a high performance MB for a new gaming rig and got exactly what I needed with this product. Everything you need for no-compromise gaming is here: SLI/X-fire support, high memory capacity, on-board 7.1 sound, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, etc. The board layout is very intuitive and the initial setup does not require a IT degree. Easy install, easy setup. I have been pushing it hard for a month with no issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for high performance at a reasonable price. Amazon's ordering/delivery/customer service: Exceptional, as always.

i like that motherboard so much i like the black color its awesome . i just put it in my case blug the cables it worked (very nice)
easy to instal and very high specs (im still working to oc my processor and see its performance (it seems very easy to do that) i like this MB
