Love it!Jul 08, 2011
By D. McCloskey Upgraded from stock 2.0 ghz processor that was at 100% usage a lot due to what I use my laptop for. Much quicker & definitely handles the workload better.
Arrived very quickly from the supplier.

Good Bang for your buckDec 09, 2010
By Demian My ASUS originally came with a 2.0 processor and it was not too bad, but when you add in flash, gaming, and some Photoshop work, that's when it became sluggish and my CPU was always maxed at 100%. So I decided to upgrade to this new Duel Core that was available for my system and now I can do everything I was doing before plus my CPU is no were near maxing out.

sooooo fast - worth the upfront $$$Oct 05, 2010

In 2008, I added this CPU to my custom built HP laptop as a $625 option. Im glad I put that money in at first because now, 2+ years later, the thing still flies! I added an intel 80gb ssd into my unit and, coupled with this processor and 4gb ram, my laptop boots in 24 seconds now and shuts down in about 7. Barring any hardware failures, I can see this laptop lasting me for years to come.
My advice to others who are currently building machines - go with a high end processor and SSD drive - it'll change your life! :D
