 I Was Skeptical, But it Works Fine. Good Value.May 08, 2010

I was skeptical about a cartridge for less than twenty bucks, but I was tired of paying $80 each for the HP cartridge. This one fits my Laserjet 1300 perfectly and has already produced at least 500 flawless printed pages, maybe more. My wife is an attorney, and frequently takes work home. She never hesitates to print out cases, or long articles. Her laptop is linked to my printer, so I frequently see paper piling up in the output tray. I also do a significant amount of printing.
It does not come with any cleaning accessories; only a cartridge in a leakproof bag, well packaged in a cardboard box.

Like others, I was a bit skeptical about the quality of something that costs so little compared to what HP charges. I've now printed almost 150 pages using this cartridge and it has worked beautifully. The print has been clean and crisp, with no messiness or gray film. I am very happy with the performance of the product so far.

Don't be drawn in by the inexpensive price. The prints from this toner are so faint that it is completely unusable. Unfortunately I didn't have to install the cartridge right away so I missed the window to return this.
Don't make the same mistake I did. First, buy a quality name brand and second, try it out as soon as you receive it.

I have used HP toner cartridges in my printer for years with flawless results. Within the first 24 pages using this "compatible" toner, pages started printing with a black line along the right edge of the paper. In comparing pages printed with this new cartridge to pages printed the day before with the near-empty HP cartridge, the new "compatible" toner produced print that is less dense black than the genuine HP cartridge produced. If you're not picky about the quality of the pages you print, this cart is a good deal. You are getting what you pay for.
