I think buying from Amazon has saved me money and buying this ink is a sample of the savings. I usually buy ink a few times a year. These XL packages truly are worth the few extra dollars bought as you will refill your ink for your printer much less than from buying regular ink cartridges. Check to see if items have free shipping or are elibible for Prime Saver Shipping from Amazon. When you factor in shipping and handling, free delivery is an additional plus.

Product is exactly as stated. Don't buy these if you plan on refilling yourself. Also, Lexmark products are full of tattle-tale software so they can collect information on how to better rip you off! They actually count each drop of ink used!! But ultimately, Amazon has the best price if you already own a Lexmark printer. I wish I had one of those printers that use $4.99 cartridges.

We use laser for our primary printing needs at home, however we have a Lexmark inkjet printer for color projects. The standard ink cartridges don't last very long at all and are relatively costly, to boot. If these "long-life" cartridges output their advertised rating then they're a good value comparatively. So far, so good.

The regular cartridges that came with my printer ran out after only a couple months of light use. I got the high yield cartridges to replace them and have been using my printer heavily for a month. I've only used a small fraction of each cartridge. The high yield cartridges may seem pricey, but you'll save money in the long run when you don't have to buy a new set of cartridges every other month.
