I got mine and like the functionality of it but the color -- wow -- not even CLOSE to the blue-grey pictured. What I received is more of a...hmm, murkey grey/beige/khaki/with a hint of purple. Bizarre. Additionally, the strap (grey), the drawstring (tan) and the leather accents (orangey-brown) don't exactly work well together. But hey, if you're more into function than color go for it. I'm curious as to what the other colors are. I don't think I'll return it, just because I'm THAT lazy. And truth be told, it's a usable item and could be worse. AND, it beats the $140 canvas backpack currently being sold at Urban Outfitters. But maybe next time I'll just visit the local army/navy store...

My daughter likes the look of her backpack very much, however within the first week two seams split on two of the pockets. I didn't anticipate having to do repairs so soon (or at all).

Everyone, do not buy this...it breaks EVERYWHERE the straps broke while i was at school. It will be the worst choice of your life.

Although the backpack was more of a purple grey, I am extremely happy with it. I did have to sew the straps, but that was due to my personal OCD, and I don't see any of the alterations I made as an issue. I love it! It's very sturdy and perfect for all the books I have to carry. :)

I like this bag. I just wish there were more variety in the size of the pockets. The snaps on the two pockets are very hard to snap, too.
Positives: Generally well made for an imported item. I like the waterproof lining inside the bag. Lots of secure closures with the drawstring and the snaps. Pretty nice bag for the money. I had an insert from an old camera bag that fit perfectly. Can put a DSL with zoom, plus two other lenses and a SB800 flash in this bag, with lots of room to spare. But the pockets are too small for a flash.
