Easy to install and use. There's a lag between the motion and recording start time. I'll receive some alerts only to see that whoever activated the camera passed before it recorded them. Great concept, looking forward to some improvements and the outside version. VueZone is great about providing updates for their products, I'm sure this one will be addressed in future updates.

I am using the cameras outside under the eaves of the house.
They have been there unattended for 2 months and I have had no issues with anything. I can clearly see the areas I need to and think the entire system is awesome!

We took a two week vacation (drove from New York to Disney World). We set up three of these cameras around the house. It gave us much peace of mind to be able to view the inside of the house from the car, hotels etc. Well worth the money. There was minimal battery drain during the two weeks. I highly recommend these.

I have looked for an online type camera for over 2 years....tried some but could not get the right set up for my modem, etc. I'm not very computer savvy, find progamming routers over the top for me. Got this camera system on a gold box deal and I can't say enough about how easy it was to set up. I can access the cameras through my smartphone, get alerts when there is motion detected, and the picture is very good. I have several friends who have seen this and then got one for themselves. Why a camera system? I have lots of wildlife, want to see what's going by my door and also was looking for a system that could show me if it is snowing before I left for my 45 minute commute home. (Not uncommon to get 2-3 feet of snow here). An added benefit is the video library that vuezone maintains for my account.
Although Vuezone does not say there are outdoor cameras, I have a motion detector camera outside, on a tree, with a little "roof" over it. Have had no problems with it... The first day I used it, I checked my smart phone, vuezone indicated there was motion on the camera, so I checked it. Scared the crap out of me.....I saw someone in a pink shirt at my back door, panicked for a bit, but then after I caught my breath, realized it was a video of me leaving for work that morning....too funny!
Battery life is great also...I ordered extra batteries when I got the system, but have not had to replace them yet, and it's been over 1 month now. I would recommend this system to anyone.

Was easy to set up and use. The IPhone app is great - lets you view video, record, and turn on motion detection right on the IPhone. Well worth it. Thinking of getting a set for the vacation home.
I would have given this camera 5 stars if you could schedule motion detection the same way you can schedule recording. Having to remember to turn on motion detection before going to work and remembering to turn it off after coming home everyday certainly isn't foolproof. Would be very easy for them to implement - scheduling recording already works great.
