Great driveAug 11, 2010
By goaliefight Installed on my 2 year old Dell Latitude e6400 with no problems. It is amazingly fast. I replaced a 7200RPM drive and saw a huge performance boost. It's like a completely new laptop.
I dual boot with Windows 7 and Linux. Both now load to a usable desktop in about 15 seconds or less. I'm so happy that I will be upgrading my MacBook Pro with one of these soon.

Reliable DriveSep 23, 2010
By Michael S. Muegel I had a Sandforce-based SSD drive that was "bricked" (won't show up in BIOS and unrecoverable) when power was removed during hibernation. Trolling the forums, Sandforce SSDs appear to be very fickle and too easily bricked. This drive may not be as fast, but I tried various conditions like the power loss scenario to brick and it and it survived like a champ. The prices for this 256G model, the one I purchased, are also very good.

Works great on my MacBook ProFeb 17, 2011
By goaliefight This drop in replacement for my MacBook Pro is the best upgrade money can buy. The system boots in about 12 seconds to a useable desktop and applications load much faster than with the old spindle/disk style drive that came with my system. I highly recommend this drive for Mac users.

Great Buy...Sep 28, 2010
By JhayNyl Great buy...Made my old computer like new. The speed is unbelievable fast. I think anytime you buy an upgrade for a computer, it should be the hard drive first from regular HDD to SDD.

Middling Performance - High Price - Made in USAJun 14, 2010

I bought two of these for my new build despite middling reviews. They are not bad. And as they are my first SSDs, I have nothing to compare them to in terms of performance. They were easy to install, have performed dutifully for the two months I have owned them and I have no complaints.
I bought these because they were made in the U.S.
